A hearty brown ale that benefits from the silky mouthfeel provided by oatmeal, pairs great with Cigars.

Pretty good British brown, although I do seem to pick up a bit of tartness that doesn’t belong. Poured at a good temperature with a modest, lite brown, foamy, thick head that soon all but disappears and no lace. Color is an almost clear amber brown with some bubble trails. Aroma is a very fragrant malt, nutmeats, cocoa, toffee, bit of roast. Flavor’s like nose and very we’ll balanced. The off tartness vanishes with a little time. Body/carbonation are about perfect. Finish is like flavor, has a few medicinal qualities that linger, and is overall very drinkable.

Crowler from the brewery via Christine (thanks!). Deep brown with a thin tan head. Richly nutty and a bit fruity, chocolate, roasted malt, a touch watery, lightly sweet with limited bitterness. Not bad.

0.355l can. Reddish dark brown body, light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, sour chherry and some smoke. Taste of chocolate, caramel, sour cherry and some grains. Suprisingly acidic for me. Overall it’s an OK beer.

Poured brown with tan head. Toffee malts and malty mouth coating without being cloying and sweet. Great brown.

It pour brown with a tan head. It has roasted aromas with toast and a hint of nuts. It has a sweet taste with flavors or roasted malts and nut. It is fairly smooth going done with light bitterness. It is also a bit lively with the carbonation.

Amazing brown ale. Slight on the nose but heavy and chewy in the body, taste is chocolate malt. Does pare well with cigars as advertised. Top notch. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

on tap at Stein & Vine in Fla - good brown ale that has a silky mouthfeel like the description says. No aroma. Nice dark color. Just ok - nothing special.

(draft @ Cigar City Brewing - Tampa International Airport - Tampa, FL) Clear brown pour with a thin tan head. Nutty and deep caramel aroma with a roasted malt and toffee hint. Flavor is lots of caramel malts with a very smooth and creamy finish.
