A hearty brown ale that benefits from the silky mouthfeel provided by oatmeal, pairs great with Cigars.

Pretty good British brown, although I do seem to pick up a bit of tartness that doesn’t belong. Poured at a good temperature with a modest, lite brown, foamy, thick head that soon all but disappears and no lace. Color is an almost clear amber brown with some bubble trails. Aroma is a very fragrant malt, nutmeats, cocoa, toffee, bit of roast. Flavor’s like nose and very we’ll balanced. The off tartness vanishes with a little time. Body/carbonation are about perfect. Finish is like flavor, has a few medicinal qualities that linger, and is overall very drinkable.

Can 33cl at Nya Tröls. Interesting aroma with loads of stuff going on, ground coffee dominates. The taste is slightly more chemical with hints of burnt rubber.

12 ounce can sample- cola like chestnut brown, thin head and lacing and reasonable clarity. Nose- malted milk, very light roast. taste- slightly nutty, toasty, touch of molasses. The oatmeal adds some depth of mouthfeel to an otherwise fairly watery brew. Drinkable enough but not a lot going on here.

Love the mouthfeel, has good flavor, & an all around very nice brown! Aroma is light but desirable. Pour is dark brown w/ a thin tan head that doesn’t leave lacing. The flavor is light chocolate w/ a little hint of roasted notes in the finish. Easily drinkable & overall a good beer!

Draft at Wynwood The brown ale was tasted while waiting a cab. The ale pours a clear brown color with a small off white head that stayed with the ale. There was a nice roasted malty chocolate caramel aroma with hoppy hints. The medium body brown ale had average carbonation. This is very smooth ale that was a pleasure. The finish had some chocolate but was otherwise flat.

Bote de 355ml. Vaso Nonic. Compleja y sabrosa !! 355ml can. Nonic glass. Enjoyed @ Freiburg (Barcelona). Deep brown color. Tan head shows fairly good retention. Intense caramel & toasted malt, toffee aromas, notes of herbal infusion & fresh black tobacco. Caramelish upfront rounded by hints of licorice & coffee infusion. Light to medium body. Moderate carbonation. Dried & velvety mouthfeel. Candy & sweet roasted flavors touched by smoked malt hues resolve in a sweet malty finish. Strong flavors of bitter chocolate infusion on the aftertaste. Complex & flavorful!!

Can from homer, thanks man. Pours a dark brown. Aroma almost rinds me if founders porter. Has some chocolate and coffee. Taste is lighter than the aroma. Pretty good stuff, better than I expected for a 5.5%

Pours a nice dark brown with a one finger tan head that doesn’t stick around. Aroma is notes of slight chocolate and faint roasted malt. There may be a hint of a nuttiness to it. Taste is very similar, but not quite as pronounced. Mouthfeel is tremendous on this for the low ABV. Not thin at all. Body is more medium. Slight hop bitterness to boot! Nice.
