[ Courtesy of plovmand ]. Clear medium to dark brown color with a small, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, chocolate, nutty notes, a danish candy called "laberlaver og de orange stykke i en pose lakridskonfekt". Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, a danish candy called "laberlaver og de orange stykke i en pose lakridskonfekt". Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100409]

1 L bottle, courtesy of plovmand. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan and creamy head. Aroma is vanilla and roasted malt. Dark roasted and distinct vanilla flavoured. Distinct chocolate and vanilla flavoured into a dry malty finish.

Growler 100 cl. Courtesy of Plovmand. Pours a clear deep amber with a small off-white head. Rather sophisticated aroma, a little wood and nuts. Medium body, sweet vanilla beans - like the orange Malaco licorice allsorts. Roasted malts and nuts. Rather subdued bitterness. Very candy-like. 090410

Bottle at Papsø, thanks Plovmand. Clear orange brown coloured with a small off white head. Sweet and fruity aroma of malts, caramel, bread and hazelnuts. Sweet flavour of caramel, bread, liquorice, hazelnuts and hops. Hoppy finish.

Dark amber to brown color; clear. Aroma of caramel and vanilla candies. Vanilla chocolate flavor, some roasted malts, smooth mouthfeel. Not impressive.

Hazy brown color. The aroma is quite dusty. Caramel flavor, dry initially, more full bodied later. Correct bitterness, no vanilla. Good Brown Ale, nothing special.

(Growler, courtesy of Mar) Pours an amber-brown body with a small beige head. Aroma of vanilla extract, cocoa, caramel, and nuts. Flavor of grass, roasted malt, vanilla, chocolate, and caramel.

Growler at Ølbutikken - Thanks Plovmand. Clear brown - offwhite head. Cocoa, vanilla, dusty cocoa, nutty, dryness, chocolate, chocofant, roasted, light body. Pleasant.

Draft. Medium tan head atop dark brown body. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, some raisin, light vanilla. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, some vanilla, raisin, light cola. Medium body, rather drinkable.

Clear mahogany with a tiny beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, vanilla, caramel and toffee. Flavour had roasted malt, caramel, vanilla, toffee and chocolate notes. Finished sweet. Thanks plovmand.
