can. pours thin brown with off white head. some toasted malt notes, hint of chocolate. mouth feel is very thin, nutty and toasted malt notes that seem flabby and dull. surprisingly generic tasting. I’m guessing something has changed due to the canning of this beer.

Pours a very nice deep brown with a medium cream head. Not much in the way of aroma. Tasted is oatmeal and hint of smoke. I can see why this would go great with a cigar. Crisp for a brown ale with a finish that lingers.

Nice brown pour. Aromas of roasted malts abound. Flavor is similar with lots of the roasted malt character. Solid brown ale, albeit a bit standard issue there’s nothing wrong with doing a classic well.

12 oz. can compliments of jbruner. Flat brown pour with a small fizzy, light brown head, which disappeared immediately. Brown body which allows a lot of light through. Nose of brown bread, toasted malt and some caramel. Sweet initial flavor, with more caramel present. Short finish with a bit of molasses lingering. Nothing special, but very drinkable.
