Dark brown colour with red lights. Toasted aroma with caramel notes. The flavour reminds to smoked, but no sure at all. Not very proper.

Light coffee flavor and aroma. Very watery too. Slightly bitter which fills the upper part of the mouth briefly. For watery beer that you should like it. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Can: Poured a dark brown with one finger of a beige head. The aroma is mildly coffee and chocolate, while the sweet taste has not only coffee and chocolate but also a sense of caramel. Very good.

A great brown. Chocolatey and full bodied. Caramel malt and oats. A spectacular example of a brown ale. Paired well with Hungarian pancakes.

Strong aroma of roasted malt and some chocolate. Nice brown head on an almost opaque brown. Extremely smooth and round mouth feel with a nice soft aftertaste.

Deep brown pour with a skimpy cap. Deep nose promises a great brown ale. And is. Deep brown sugar, pan fried pecans, a drizzle of cold coffee & rich malts define this brew. Not as innovative as Bellwood’s hop-infested Grizzly brown ale but a pretty good brew.

3-year-old bottle. White lacing. Brown/redding image. Aroma is cedar; caramel; musty perfume. Taste is caramel; roasted chestnuts, peanuts, some velvet and blackcurrants. The finish is honey and dry and of red berry. Interesting and well-made brown ale.

Can at home while visiting Jacksonville. Pours a dark teddy brown with a thin tan head. Malt loaf, fruit cake caramel aroma. Medium body, medium carbonation. Lots of treacle, caramel cake, some dark fruit, hint of lemon... Sticky, but decent. OK.
