Dark brown colour with red lights. Toasted aroma with caramel notes. The flavour reminds to smoked, but no sure at all. Not very proper.

Velvety, smooth taste. Chocolate and malt are prevalent to the tongue. Palate is a little weak but stays with you for a while. Overall, a good brown. Would get again.

[355ml can] Pours brown, with a decent head. Nutty, caramel aroma with a heavy carbonation. Sweet and lozengy. On the flavour, the oatmeal really comes to the fore, the aftertaste is long and smooth, lots of caramel and toffee. The alcohol is really well hidden [18062015]

Pours medium brown, thin tan head. Aroma is faint, some toffee. Taste is great, lots of nutty roast, caramel, toffee, chocolate, an average dose of hops in the American style. Smooth but not creamy palate. Quite nice overall.

Pours mahogany with a khaki head. Aroma is toasty nut with chocolate and coffee. Taste is dark chocolate at first and then some sweetness on the backend before the coffee hits. Darn good brown ale.

Pours clear red-brown with a 2-finger light tan head. Aroma of nutty malt with a lot of char. Medium body, very slightly oily. Soft finish. Flavor of roasted nutty malt up front, giving way to a brief note of citrus. Mix of caramel and chocolate in the finish.

Tessic (926) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 2, 2015
This brown ale poured a deep amber colour with a big, tan coloured, creamy head. Scents include very ripe fruit, sweetness, caramel/molasses, coffee and paint remover??? First swig was sweet and slightly weak. Flavours of syrup, caramel and fruit juice. Finish is too much old fruit and a little too sweet.

12oz can pours dark brown with light edges and 2 finger offwhite head. Nose has nutty espresso, cpffee bean, light vanila, a touch of cacao. Taste is similar, medium light body, light roast, nutty coffee and hints of chocolate. Finish continues the palate, almond, coffee bean, darl nuts. Enjoyable.
