Bottle 12fl.oz. @ [ The Pool Tabel Tasting in Rome ].

Clear dark brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, wood - tobacco, bread and nutty notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20101220]

Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with a thin brown beer. The aroma has notes of malt, bread, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of bread, nuts, caramel, and brown sugar, leading to a dry finish.

75 cL bottle, courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours hazy dark brown with a huge, dense and tan head. Toffee toasted malty aroma, light yeasty fruity. Bitter, toffee malty and mixed sweet and fruity. Mellow yeasty note. Bitter and dense malty finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Clear dark brown with a reddish/orangey hue and a dense and creamy head leaving a neat lacework. Odd perfumy nose, woody, ashy – strangely skewed. Medium body, very soft mouthfeel, sweet molassy and nutty, again an odd and somewhat skewed wooden character. Very subdued bitterness. Definitely a different Brown Ale. 230711

Bottled@Cosmic Comic Cafe, Turku. More or less deep brownish black colour with a small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, some fliral notes as well as mild yeastyness. Flavour is coffee, roasted malts, some slight chocolate and mild notes of vanilla. Quite pleasant.

Bottled. Hazy mahogany colour, small head. Aroma of chocolate and prunes. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Elegant and vital, some cocoa bitterness. Classy.

Bottle at Ølbutikken. Clear red brown coloured with a small beige head. Fruity aroma of caramel, hops and nuts. Fruity flavour of caramel, hops and nuts. Hoppy finish.

Bottle. Pours a clear brown color with a small longlasting off-white head. Has a roasted malty chocolate caramel aroma with hoppy hints. Roasted malty caramel and chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and caramel finish.

Bottle @ Vinens Verden, Odense. Pours ruby dark amber with a lasting creamy white head and lacings. Sweet nose of wood, oat and chocolate. Flavor adds a nutty and earthy touch. Medium bodied. Full of flavors for a 5,5 % beer - not to keen on the earth though.

Brown color, medium sized creamy head. Good aroma of caramel and of mild chocolate. Correct body strength, the mouthfeel is round enough; there is a very good flavor of mild chocolate, with light residual sweetness; low bitterness; the mild chocolate component in the final is very pleasant. Well balanced.
