Can - 12oz. Dark brown body with a thin, beige foamy head. Good malty aroma with chocolate hints. Its malty taste carries chocolate, woody, and some hoppy notes. Ends with a decent bittersweet finish. Enjoyable.

Keg at CBC, holburn. Aroma is nice nutty, brown sugar, toffee, rounded malts. Sark chestnut brown coloured pour with a thin tan head. Nice dried fruit and fruit cake on the nose. Flavour is cakey malts, nutty, dark choc, dried fruit, choc. Palate is medium sweet, chewy, highish carbonation. Lovely.

On tap at Craft Covent Garden, Dark brown beer few tan bubbles on top. Yep that’s a brown ale. Malty. Not much hop. A little zip on the finish. Decent accomplished brown ale. Some richness in the malt some milk chocolate. Good.

Pours dark brown with a Ruby hue and a small light brown head. Head retention is good. AROMA: dark malt, coffee, chocolate, roasty, nuts, caramel, toffee, spices, brown sugar, toast, herbal hops and smoke. TASTE: dark malt, coffee, chocolate, brown sugar, molasses, roasty, nuts, creamy, caramel, toffee, spices, toast, light hop spice and smoke. AFTER TASTE: toffee, coffee, molasses and spices with a creamy bitter oily finish.

On tap at the Brick Store Pub in Decatur, GA. Dark brown with almost no head or lacing. Aroma and flavor of darker malts, slightly nutty. Gentle sweetness with no noticeable hops. Mouthfeel on the thin side of medium.

Can. Clear, medium brown with a light colored tan head. Aroma was light mocha and grains. Taste is chocolate, roasted oatmeal bread with a slightly hoppy bitter finish.

Tap at Magic Rock’s Rainbow Project launch. Dark brown with amber hints. Small off-white head. Burnt and roasted malty flavours throughout. Slight red fruity undercurrent. Knowing its reputation I kept waiting for this to take off, but it never really did. Decent enough brown though.

A dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma contains chocolate, oatmeal, and nutmeg. The flavor is bitter and sweet. Overall very nice.

On tap at Daytona taproom. Pours dark brown with a tiny tan head. Aromas of chocolate and malt. Tastes the same with some sweetness and a slightly bitter finish. Light to medium mouth feel. Very nice beer.
