A hearty brown ale that benefits from the silky mouthfeel provided by oatmeal, pairs great with Cigars.

Pours deep brown/black. Nice coffee/roasty aroma followed by the same taste. I taste a hint of chocolate, no cigar :), but a definite espresso character. No hop aroma. It’s thin on the palate, but I like my brown’s thin - it’s a surprise even though there’s oatmeal in it. It’s worth seeking out if you can find it. It tasted better on draft than from bottle (go figure).
