4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Dark black in my quaffing vessel. Thin tan head, fast to recede. Aromas of malt and chocolate, roastiness, vanilla. As it warms there is a slight alcohol scent to be scented, I mean smelled. Tastes of malt, roasted barley, a little caramel, chocolate. Very well balanced and delicious. If it wasnít so strong I could drink it all day. But I did have the pepper version earlier, so Iíll have to call it quits after one glass. This should be bottled in 12oz versions, but Iím glad for the giant bottles. If I wasnít such a girl (Iím not) I could finish both bottles without the help of my wife. Buy it if you find it. Cellar it. I think it will age wonderfully.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Chewy stout. Very roasty. Great mouthfeel. Balanced stout flavor -- coffee nor chocolate are readily apparent, but hints come thru every now and again. ABV incredibly well hidden.

2013 bottle. Sampled this immediately after a Huna which I did not enjoy. Both had an olive flavor which was very strange.
