Big thanks to Scott for the hook up on this! Pours black with a dark brown head that starts at the edges and dissipates completely. Aroma has a good amount of raisin with dark grains as well as a bit of dark chocolate. Flavor starts with dark fruits, dark grains and raisins. The finish brings out a bit of dark chocolate and a hint of alcohol.

Bottle: The aroma consists of chocolate, espresso, vanilla, and a touch of dark fruits. It pours a dark brown with a minimal beige head. The flavor starts with chocolate and faint vanilla. The finish has espresso, fruit, and a touch of roast. Full bodied with a slightly oily mouthfeel.

On tap. Pours black and opaque with a head that appears almost dark brown. Hard roasted malt aroma but it doesn’t appear overly burned. Pours thick and almost syrupy, notes of dried dark fruits and a distinctly roasted finish. A straight and rich Imperial Stout without any fuss. 110511

Thanks to adam for this pour. Brown black with a thin tan head. Rich chocolates malts. Sort of salty like a pretzel. Sweet roasty chocolates and roast flavors really drinkable. Balanced really well. I really enjoyed this one. Solid 8/4/8/4/16 thx alum.
