750 ml bottle @ CBC2013. Pours a pitch black colour with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, salty licorice and bread. Flavour is rather heavy with roasted malts, licorice, soy sauce, bread and some bitterness. Full bodied, oily mouthfeel and a long, warming, salty finish. Great.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
750 ml bottle.
Black!, black!, black!, with a thick chocolate colored head.
Aroma contains notes of dark fruits, chocolate, vanilla.
Body is full and carbonation is medium. Somewhat surprisingly, there is not much aftertaste.
Flavor is very up front. Immediately you are hit with BIG taste of raisins, soy, chocolate, vanilla, dark chocolate. A little sweet, but not not too much.
Very well rounded, and quite enjoyable.

Ccb hunahpu day. On tap. Pour thick black with golden rimmed lacing. This beer is sour!? Is it supposed to be? I love imperial stouts but this is different. Tastes like a sweet cigar. Not a fan =/. I normally like sour beers, but I?m not used to trying a dark sour so bizarre I don?t know how to explain it. Go try it. I think there is too much going on

Hunahpu Day pour #4. Listed as 2011 vintage. Pours black with tan head. Roasty, hoppy chocolate smell, heavy on the roasted grain. Hmmm. Sour roasted grain taste, very sweet, too. Not sure I am into this one. The flavors don't seem to meld well. Thick mouthfeel with low to medium carbonation.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
4th September 2011
Opaque black beer, dark brown head - short lived. Slightly heavy but silky palate. Mild carbonation. Dark chocolate and rich dark malts. Fresh coffee and cream. Minerals. Smooth finish with a whisper of aniseed. Rich and tasty but needs something more to reach the highest echelons.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottled. Pours opaque black with a medium sized tan head. Leaving a fair lacing on the glass. Nose of roasted malt, coffee, bitter chocolate, dark fruits and caramel. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry, quite bitter and with alcohol notes. Excellent.★★★★

In short: A very rich and spicy black beer. Brutal but drinkable sugar bomb.
How: Bottle 750ml. Consumed when approximately 1 year of age. Bottle sent to me by hopscotch, thanks a lot Eric
The look: Black body topped by a medium tan light-brown head
In long: Nose is very rich, raisins covered in caramel, black liquorice swimming in toffee, seasoned pastry, more… Taste is more chocolaty than expected, still lots of raisins, rich caramel, cinnamon bun, a piece of rich pastry, black liquorice spiral confectionery, plenty of anise. Bohr and Dirac + rum barrel aging created the atrocity that is Nielsbohrium. I could recognize certain aspects of Nielsbohrium in Bohr, however Bohr was not nearly as offensive as Nielsbohrium. Bohr is over-the-top, a brutal sweet assault on the palate, but it is not an unpleasant one. Named after Niels Henrik David Bohr, a brilliant Danish scientist in advanced physic from mid 1900s, so you see, the Danes have been obsessed with numbers for a very long time.
