4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a viscous, dark black color that’s completely opaque with a one finger dark mocha head that slowly settles into a thick, lasting ring. Streaks of soapy lacing left behind. Looks incredible!
Sweet, slightly spicy aroma with a balanced of roasted and sweet malt notes as well as some dark fruit and sweet booze. Subtle peppery zest followed by roasted dark malt, chocolate, coffee bean, toast and oatmeal. There’s also some lactic cream and lighter chocolate malt notes followed by vinous raisin, grape and fig.
Medium bodied with a prominent peppery spice presence up front that’s countered by a complex malt bill, vinous fruit and boozy sweetness. Slightly viscous with pepper, ginger and and clove followed by roasted chocolate malt, tobacco, toffee and robust coffee bean. The roasted character is countered by sweeter malt notes, lactic cream and dark fruit notes. Hints of raisin, plum and fig give some needed sweetness toward the end of the palate which is followed by subtle boozy heat. Still, the high ABV is relatively well maxed, making this complex sipper easier to drink than expected.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared by Thorpe429. Thanks Mike!
Served side by side with Dirac.
The beer is on the edge of blackness, with a beige cap that leaves a healthy trail of lacing on the glass. The aroma brings roasted malt, dark fruits, spice, and some booze. The flavor is nice, with everything well balanced and integrated. The beer is full bodied, thick, and viscous, with fairly low carbonation.
I preferred Dirac over Bohr, but only slightly. I think they are both great beers. This collaboration was definitely a success.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Scott - thanks! Black pour with a very dark brown/tan head that hangs in there for a while. Aroma is very dry roast with chocolate, bitter coffee, and noticeable raisin/date with a touch of alcohol sweetness into the finish. Taste is dry roasted malt with chocolate, bitterness, char, alcohol bite, and a sweet melange of malt and raisin. Feel light and creamy. Nice combination of the dry, roasted imperial with the sweet raisins. Good beer that may have peaked some time ago.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
[Bottle, thanks!] Old rating. Pours dark brown with a nice head. Aroma is coffee, raisin, light spice--allspice? Vague sweetness. Taste is barbeque sauce, deeply roasted malt, smoke, and dark chocolate undertones. Thick mouthfeel, smoth. A decent beer, but didn’t amaze like some other CCB beers have. Thanks again for the opportunity to try this!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared at drowland’s going away tasting, thanks to stevencon. Poured a dark brownish black with a thin tan head and light lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, and slight fig-like sweetness. Taste is more towards bittersweet chocolate and coffee, with a slight alcohol burn. Nice, but not the best imperial stout.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Thanks stevencon! Black pour with a creamy tan head. Nose is bittersweet chocolate, strong roast, dark fruitiness and touch of coffee. Soured out a bit with dark fruits, chocolate and old espresso. Its probably seen better days. Not bad though.
