Big thanks to Sean via Wakefield... black body with some dark brown fringes, no carbonation... strong syrupy nose of molasses and raisins, the oak is really smooth adds a nice spicey note to the beer, some alcohol, but in your face and strong... the taste is too sryupy, raisins, lots of char, a bit of vanilla on the finish... worth trying, better than its parts

almost black. thick. low slow carbonation.
vinous aroma... also, chocolate chips, bandaids, smoke (throughout and annoying), wood, oats and roast.
the palate is pretty frikkin sweet.... stop with the sugar already... it tastes like choc-o-bloc chocolate flavored port wine...ugh. at least the bandaid note isn’t in the flavor.
it is thick, syrupy and cloying. low carbonation doesn’t help it any. 7/4/4/2/13--

(Growler thanks to ericandersnavy) black as oil with frothy dark tan head that lasts forever. This coats the glass like oil. Nose of peanut butter, grape, raisins, rich chocolate and mild oak. Taste of raisin, oak, rich chocolate. Thick body with a raisin finish. Nice beer!

Cigar city oak aged Dirac. 32oz mason jar growler from a tampa friend... Pours a deeper shade of black, slighted lesser intense edges, and topped with a creamy light beige head... Aroma of anise, lighter roast, charred and a touch of wood. Big on the aforementioned black licorice note...Thick flavor profile with molasses, anise, with to a lesser extent a slight roast. Full earthy bodied.

Pour from a growler gave a dark black liquid of a beer. Sweetness of the malt predominates on the nose. Thick rich full body and of course very smooth. Fig, coffee, and prune flavors are apparent. Pretty tasty beer and stoked to sample it for sure.
