2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Black with a medium sized diminishing light brown head. Roasted malt, gravy, salt, berries, cocoa, wood, mold, old coffee grounds.
Medium/full body, oily texture, filling sweetness, high acidity, fine bitterness. I don’t know what the high acidity is about, but it makes it really difficult to drink. It was the same in Bohr, so I guess it is either intentional or the same thing going wrong, perhaps because of age. Either way, this is not good. Finishes sticky, salty and acidic. Ridiculous waste of money sums it up.

From a shared 75cl bottle at RBNG-14. Pours very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of dark malts, dark fruits berries and lots of chocolate. Quite sweet but still balanced. Not as good as Bohr, but certainly a pleasant one!

Taster from a bottle at the Grand Tasting at the RBNG-event at Fredrik 3.’s Hall. Dark brown coloured body. Lasting small tan-coloured head. Black coffee on the nose. Coffee and confectionery chocolate flavours offset by bitter liquorice added by a spicy touch. Full bodied and very smooth in the mouth. Lovely late drinking (Halden 15.02.2014).
