Bottle from a passing stranger in the DLD line waiting for the gates to open. Overall, it was okay. Am I the only person who tasted soy sauce here? A little too "big" for me if that makes any sense. I think it was the raisons that bring in that sticky, sweetness.

Saved this sweetness from Hunaphu’s day 2011. Thick molten black with a tan milk chocolate head. Smell is sweet dark fruits light chocolate with a little spice. Flavor runs with the sweet raisins. The beer has great spice, still had a some bitterness left in the bottle. I am glad I picked this up that day.

On tap. Pour was as black as night. Dark medium head. Aromas of smoked wood, roasted grain, chocolate, and nuts. Taste is over the top charred fruits, butter, roasty notes. A little too dry in the finish. Ashy, and too smoked for me.

Big thanks to Adam for this bottle! Smell is very similar to Bohr. Almost hard to tell the two apart. Smell is char maybe a little vanilla and dark chocolate. I like this one a little better, again, really glad I was able to have this!

I’ve always wanted to try this and Bohr since Nielhesborium was a seriously good brew. Draft on Hunahpu day 2012. Nose is nutty, with roasted malts, molasses, some chocolate, a touch of soy, some oak, and even a hint of sweetness. Taste wise it is pretty similar but being drier that the nose would lead on. Very nice and roasty. Good stuff.

Side by side with the Bohr, Dirac is more dry and sessionable. The nose isn’t too fruity, but chocolatey and roasty. With a taste of rich coffee and a nice texture behind the dry cocoa finish, I can see how blended together these beers can be nothing short of amazing.
