COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pours amber in color with notes of caramel and slight hints of red delicious apple in the aroma. Flavor has a moderate earthy and herbal hop bitterness followed by moderate caramel notes that are subdued by floral hop bitterness in the finish. A damn good and authentic ESB.

Dark amber appearence. Breast, yeast nose. Not much going on. Taste is decent, strong bread taste. Malty. Overall an ok brew.

Review from notes at Cigar Cityís taproom on 9/9/11 for Firkin Friday. Draft poured into a 4 oz. sampler glass. Appearance: Poured a medium caramel brown with golden highlights. Nice lacing. Smell: Sweet malt with a touch of bitter hops. Taste: Grassy hops up front followed by lightly roasted malt in the middle before ending with a nice bitter finish. Aftertaste is bitter as well. Very nice flavor. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with a decent amount of carbonation. Drinkability: Very good drinkability. You could drink several. Goes down smooth. Overall: Good beer overall. One of the better ESBs Iíve had (while I havenít had a ton, I know this one is good). Worth trying.

Aroma is slightly sweet with almost a syrup edge, and slightly malty. Color is a brown/orange with a small off white head. Taste is not exactly sweet, but more malty with a toasted edge. Palate finishes a bit sticky, like too much of a sugary edge.

Rating from notes, drank 8 Oct 2011 -- On tap at Kickbackís Gastropub in Jacksonville, FL. This beer received a gold at GABF, and I believe it. Great example of an ESB.

Really enjoyed this CCB, interesting (and delicious) combination of grassy hops and bready (almost chewy) malts. Nicely balanced, super tasty and easy to drink.

Pours amber. Aroma is a bit sweet with bready hints. Taste is sweet toffee, biscuits, caramel malts and floral hops. Palate is medium and dead on for the style. A bitter that is easily sessionable.

From notes. Pours an amber red in color with a one inch white head. The aroma is very well balanced. Kind of hard to describe, alittle sweet yet still hoppy. A little malty sweetness balanced by bitter hops. Very smooth mouth feel, medium light body with high carbonation. The finish is fairly bitter. Very nice beer, Iím pretty sure this was my first ESB, a nice style I will be exploring a little more.

Dark amber color, caramel hops, slightly nutty and earthy. Very clean and a little spice too,
