COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Moat Water is a stout brewed with lactose and Skatepart of Tampaís own moat water, then aged with coffee, vanilla beans and Canadian maple wood veneers. As for the flavor... think All You Can Eat chocolate chip pancakes and bottomless coffee. Itís appearance is dark, just like your future if you dare to partake in the infamous Moat Race during Skatpark of Tampaís legendary Tampa AM and Tampa PRO.

Rating 4400!11/2/12. 750mL bottle shared by Eddie! What a cool idea this beer is, and a great collaboration! The pour is an awesome black with a huge tan head that sticks and laces plenty. The aroma is hugely coffee forward with a ton of chocolate, some sweet vanilla, and barely a hint of woody maple. The flavor is sweet but tasty with huge coffee and plenty of vanilla and a touch of woody maple. This is very creamy and delicious!

I enjoyed this one quite a bit. Bomber ----> snifter...twice. Nose is huge espresso and roasted coffee with burnt malts, dry cocoa, and some vanilla sweetness. Pour is jet black with a small, dark brown head. Flavor is all roast and coffee. Tons of espresso and roasted malt. Sticky mouthfeel and thick. Lightly sweet finish behind that bitter roasted coffee. Very nice.

Black pour with a nice creamy brown head. Nose is fresh espresso, roasted malts, definite maple wood, sweet steamed milk and cocoa nibs. Flavor is loads of sweet vanilla beans, creme brûlée, coffee, cocoa, and roasted malts with some more subtle maple wood notes. Medium full bodied with a good bitterness in the end. Not overly sweet and well balanced. Damn tasty.

On draft at Cigar City, pours a dark black color, aromas of coffee, vanilla, oak, some maple, and light sugar. Flavors are all coffee, followed by some light oak, vanilla, and chocolate. Extremely smooth over all, could drink this beer all day.

Big thanks to Dosbeerigos for sharing this! Super stoked to see this bad boy in attendance last night since I didnít even realize that it had been bottled. Awesome aroma of coffee, vanilla, maple and chocolate. Very sticky and thick, though the body is somewhat thin. Incredibly easy to drink, ABV masked very well. Outstanding!

Coffee blast on the nose. Full bodied, imperial stout back end, thick coffee palate, pours, beautiful opal with no head. Sticks to the glass.

Snifter pour at the brewery of deep dark liquid with a very thin khaki head. Nose is sharp, black coffee, mild sweet notes of vanilla, roasted malts, and chocolate. Flavor follows, bitter from the coffee but smooth from lactose. Light sweetness of caramel and smooth vanilla. Medium body but fairly smooth. Nice

UPDATED: OCT 30, 2013 This is a pretty complex brew. The aroma is like old coffee next to printer paper (stained with chocolate). Dry, earthy flavors reminded me of a porter, but as it turned mellow with bittersweet cocoa... Anyways itís almost musty, but in a good way.

Pours black. Nose is big vanilla and loads of coffee, smoke, charred malt. Flavor follows suit with pleasant soft sweet vanilla and fresh brewed coffee. Huge body. Finishes slightly bitter and earthy.
