COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Moat Water is a stout brewed with lactose and Skatepart of Tampa’s own moat water, then aged with coffee, vanilla beans and Canadian maple wood veneers. As for the flavor... think All You Can Eat chocolate chip pancakes and bottomless coffee. It’s appearance is dark, just like your future if you dare to partake in the infamous Moat Race during Skatpark of Tampa’s legendary Tampa AM and Tampa PRO.

Sampled from a 0.75l bottle @ Top Hops (BA) Bottle Share. Yeah, it’s really dark and black in the glass this one - with a small islandy brown head. It has a fantastic aroma filled with vanilla, dark roasted malts, chocolate, fudge and a strong molasses sweetness. The mouthfeel is silky thick and oily and the carbonation is just prickling on the tongue. The taste has creamy chocolate, lots and lots of vanilla pods, dark coffee and a lovely sweetness to it. A really really fine one I would not mind revisiting again and again. 15.06.2013
