On tap at CCB pouring up murky sluggish brown like chocolate with tan head. The aroma has a pleasing level of near dank earthy basement, some roasty malts, coffee covered vanilla bean and some sugar covered oak. Wow, nice. The taste is pretty yummy with rich earthy – dark roasty malts – chocolate goodness. Behind those notes I’m getting dark roasted malts that bleed into a thin dark roasted coffee like vein of flavor. I dig it.

On Firkin at CCB. Pours a murky brown with a small, bubbly off-white head. Nose is vanilla, light cocoa, chocolate, hints of tobacco, and some wood. Flavor is similar with cocoa, bits of tobacco, wood, vanilla, and sweetness all around. Finishes with the sweetness of vanilla and more vanilla with hints of wood. Very similar to Vanilla Maduro with some more vanilla and wood.

Poured Brown with foamy white head. Nose is big vanilla, hints of dry wood, toasted grain. Earthy. Flavor is sweet vanilla and toasted wood mixed with all the regular goodness that is Maduro. Nice.
