750 ml bottle.
Pours a black colour with a creamy beigeish head. Aroma of roastiness, sweet fruitiness, dark chocolate and biscuit. Rather rich flavour of roasted malts, chocolate, biscuit, grassy bitterness and grains. Medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Rather rich and juicy for a porter. Enjoyable.

olio (7528) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 8, 2014
75 cl bottle.
Pours deep dark red, almost black color with a large off-white head. Aroma is very nice with sweet fruits, some resinous hops, dark malts, some chocolaty notes and wood. Flavor is juicy and sweet, caramel malts, resinous hops, some wooden notes, toffee and chocolate, passion fruit also. Sweet juicy palate. Nice but not as good as I expected.

75 cl bottle @ home, no BBE info
Aroma is quite light with hay and some bready tones. Also some nuts and slight fruitiness in the background. Flavour has cocoa notes, fruit juice and some semi-dark chocolate. Roasty and juicy but a bit thin. Good, but I expected more.

tiong (4736) - Espoo, FINLAND - FEB 8, 2014
750ml bottle from De Molen Beershop

Pours pitch black with a thick light brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, hints of sweet fruity notes, cocoa, vanilla, hops and earthy notes. Taste is sweetish, fruity and thin with fruity hoppiness, juicy notes, hints of roastiness and ash. Finish is sweetish juicy, roasty and fruity with hints of hops, cocoa and chocolate. Quite fruity and sweet porter, feels a bit thin though.

Bottle at James’ place for A Clocking New Years! Pours a deep brown with a huge tanned beige head, the size of which makes me at first think infection. Paper and roast on the nose, chocolate and some passion fruit. Papery and chocolatey, cocoa, a bit of roast. Chocolate smooths out, roasty, some more fruitiness. A bit of age and cocoa into the finish. Seems like it’s on the border of going off, but it’s still holding up nicely enough.

Bottle shared by me at Clocking New Year. Pours black with brown head. Way overcarbonated, but nice after it settles. Nose and taste of passionfruit, berries, dry chocolate malt, burnt toast and light roast berry flavored coffee. Medium body.

Bottle frpm Dranken Geers, Oostaker, nr Gent, Belgium, consumed at Isobels, Eardisley, Herefordshire Tuesday 31st December 2013 (New Years Eve) Brown in colour no head, actually I lie maybe there is a little head. Passion fruit is mellow but integrated and contributing really well here. The beer is a little sour and clearly fruity. Gritty and full flavoured with some fruit soaked spent coffee grains. The aroma is light fruit with a little chocolate and there is a little fruit embeded chocolate in mouth. Good. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2014 Growler... Berliner Bash on the Bay 2013... Clear brown ale with no head. A hempen, dank component accompanies passionfruit and grapefruit aromatics. Medium-bodied with a thin, watery mouthfeel and busy carbonation. Raspy, singed, dank flavor with additional citrus peel tannins and bitterness. Astringent, acrid, dry finish. Growler courtesy of burg326!
