Chopp. Hazy deep dark brownm close to black colour, medium beige head, creamish, good lacing. Roasty malty woody dark fruity aroma with chocolate. Good filling mouthfeel indeed. Roasted malt and dark fruits with chocolate, wood and some passion fruit underneath it all.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Murky deep brown liquid with medium light tan head. Aroma of dried fruit, pineapple, light licorice, light chocolate, raw sugar and passionfruit. Taste is very light sweet and light bitter with notes of dried fruit, chocolate, tropical fruit and raw sugar. Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation. OK but weird.

from Erzbierschof - gusher ... cloudy and very dark brown beer under a huge dark foam; solid roasted maltiness with notes of molasses and ashes; hints of burnt ribbon and tropical fruits below; overcarbonated, medium-bodied; very bitter and dry; aggresive aftertaste of tar and ashes leaving no more places for the passion fruits - very disappointing

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottled, thanks to caesar for sharing. Dark brown colored, small head. Aroma of roasted malts and chocolate. Malty flavor, which is very dry with fruity notes. Very awkward combination of flavors, which doesn’t work for me at all.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled from biergenot.be, medium sample. Dark color, short brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, milk chocolate, passion fruit. The fruity notes give a combination with the porter that is quite extraordinary, but I like it. Fruity taste, some bitterness, slight sweet. Fruit makes it feel a bit thin bodied, although it also adds some sweetness and slight fruity sourness. I like it.

Pours dark with big head. Aroma of sweet molasses over tropical fruit, roast malt. Medium body, flavour of vanilla smoothness, sweet fruit. Balances the roastyness nice with the passion. Nice and drinkable

Sample from bottle during CBC 2014, my last sample during the festival.
Dark brown with a small head. Quite a lot of passion fruit both in the aroma and taste. Also light roasted malt, chocolate and some coffee. Smooth and with a bitter finish. Good stuff!

Flaske: Amager hev en række flasker frem da øllet var løbet tør. Ekstrem meget karbonering på en brunrød let diset øl. Duft af passion som faktisk kan anes. Smagen er ok, men bestemt ikke en øl jeg ville opsøge igen.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, 75cl. It looks quite lovely in the glass, a more or less clear, dark brown body and a dense, dark beige head leaving lacings. The aroma has dark coffee, chocolate, a distinct fruityness and some chili notes. Soft on the palate, medium bodied, but feeling almost watery, with a nice carbonation level. Some fruityness in the flavor, but it’s mostly the coffee and chocolate that runs the show. There’s some faint chili burn on the tip of the tongue, but it disappears very quickly. Lasting mocha finish. Not sure about this one, it’s good, but in a strange way lacking on drinkability. 140420
