COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pours black in color with coffee and very light cocoa notes. Patio Tools is brewed with roasted barley which contributes forward coffee notes with small notes of cocoa and toffee in the flavor. An authentic dry Irish stout.

Growler generously gifted by Chaney. Thanks Brandon! The beer is dark brown, nearing black. The head is thick and beige and leaves some random lacing on the snifter. The aroma offers dark fruit, smoke, and roast. The flavor is quite nice. Eight ounces down, this is likely the best Irish stout I have yet had. Light bodied and easy drinking, with spot on carbonation. I would definitely drink this again. Serving type: growler Reviewed on: 08-01-2011

Entering old rates. Draft @ CCB. Must have drank gallons of this nectar, St Patty comes to FL.

Dark black in color, hazy with a thin tan head. Big coffee roast and lots of dry Irish stout flavors. Very tasty brew.

On tap at Vine & Barley. Creamy malt taste, with a bit of weak coffee flavor thrown in. So-so.

Poured a dark black with creamy white head from nitro tap at Proof on St. Patrick’s Day. Light scents of soy sauce and coffee. Taste is like a Guinness, but way better, with a little more roasted malts and a smooth finish. Good dry stout that you should try if you get the chance.

On nitro tap at CCB - it looked just like a Guinness but the body was a little more bubbly. The aroma is fantastic and almost earthy; dry leaves and cocoa but very light. This beer goes down smooth and rich with a very dry body. Cocoa at the end is bitter, light and refreshing sip after sip.

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2012 Nitro tap at fermentation. Black pour with a creamy tan head that doesn’t leave. Aroma is very roasty with some hints of dark bitter chocolate. Nice, light mouthfeel. Flavor is following suit of the aroma of good roasty malts and some light bitter chocolate. Not bad.

on nitro @ cigar city. Aroma of nice roast vanilla coffee and malt. Pours black with a creamy head (nitro). Taste is ok. Roasty but a little thin after the initial roast. Not the best.

UPDATED: MAR 23, 2013 UPDATE 3/23/13 - Tried it again. I stand by my original rating. Very dry stout. Some chocolate after taste, but not much else. Nice mouth feel and nice head. 3/18/12
