COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pours black in color with coffee and very light cocoa notes. Patio Tools is brewed with roasted barley which contributes forward coffee notes with small notes of cocoa and toffee in the flavor. An authentic dry Irish stout.

Pours dark brown with tan head. Aroma was roasted coffee and dark chocolate. Taste was sweet with nice coffee bitters. More creamy then expected for having such light mouthfeel.

(swingtop courtesy of HOPSHUNTER, sampled 4/1/10). Black color. Large tan head. Moderate roasty, smoky aroma. Flavor of the same, with light bitterness. Avg duration. Light bitter finish. Slick texture. Soft carbonation. Fair lacing.

Growler; thanks Ibrew3or3!! Pours dense black with thin light tan head when swirled; yummy, almost lager sweetness on the nose reminding me of a schwarzbier at first; ashy chocolate with light dried fruits, vanilla cookies and nice dry finish; soft chocolate, smooth and easy drinking; pretty nice stuff overall

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2012 Nitro tap at fermentation. Black pour with a creamy tan head that doesn’t leave. Aroma is very roasty with some hints of dark bitter chocolate. Nice, light mouthfeel. Flavor is following suit of the aroma of good roasty malts and some light bitter chocolate. Not bad.

Nitro @ CCB provided by one of the brewers. Near black pour with lots of creamy head. Smells great - roasted malt and coffee. Wonderfully dry and easy drinking. Roast is the star of the show with some chocolate notes.

if you are going to drink a stout, this one is probably the one to do so. the finish is a little dry for my tastes but then again its supposed to be given the style. heavy on the malts, some honey notes, rye cereal-ness and pumpernickel twang. somewhat cocoa powder-y. very good for what it is.

opaque black, lasting dense tan head, smooth medium body, medium-high co2.

aroma and flavor are dry, charcoal, roast, and slightly ashy. just enough bittering hops to keep it in balance, without giving any notable hop character. it has a wonderful smooth texture, giving it the feel of porter or even some RIS.

On tap at Oblivion Tap Room, Orlando, pours a dark brown black color with a small mocha head. Nose is coffee through and through with malty notes. Taste is all deep rich espresso and coffee, light and full of flavor, and very dry. Finishes dryly and with the same flavors . Great dry stout. Quaff Score 8 / 10

Had this on tap in Cigar City’s newly constructed bar area. Tried on recommendation from some locals that were sitting next to me. Poured into a pint glass. Pours a nice dark brown with a slight tan, tight head. Smells of coffe and dark roasted malts. The taste is great! It’s tough to describe but "tight" come to mind, probably the dryness of it. Also get notes of coffee with a slight smooth hop flavor. Mouthfeel is light to medium. Chalkboard said this was 5.2% abv which was perfect. Love this beer.

Nitro at TPA. Creamy beige head, very dark brown beer. Aroma is earthy, chocolate, crushed leaves. Creamy and supple. Flavor is mild and clean. Chocolate, lots of earthy tones, light bitter roast on the end with a hint of coffee grounds. A delightful glass of beer.
