Pours black in color with coffee and very light cocoa notes. Patio Tools is brewed with roasted barley which contributes forward coffee notes with small notes of cocoa and toffee in the flavor. An authentic dry Irish stout.

Draft. Black with a creamy tan head. Aroma is sourdough, molasses, dry brownies, a little light roast coffee. Solid nose. Flavor is very light, again with the toasted sourdough and chocolate crumbles before an incredibly dry finish. The very subtle flavor isn’t helped by a slick, watery body, which I found a little odd for a nitro stout.

On tap at CCB. It was a hot day and this poured a nice clear deep dark brown with tan frothy head. Aroma was coffee and cream. A bit dry on the palate but still enough sweetness to make it go down well and quick. This was very yummy!

Solid brew. Pours black with a brown, frothy head. Aromas of coffee, dark chocolate, and caramel. Tastes of dark, bitter chocolate, rich black coffee, licorice, and some caramel. A bit smoky, and chalky. Dry, pleasant finish. Tastes like a super Guinness, and that is a very good thing. Delicious beer.

Poured from a fliptop bottle. Very high notes of coffee. Taste was bitter up front but clean and dry on the finish.

Deep brown color with a medium tan head. Aroma of malt and some roast, but not much. Roasted malt taste, similar to a Guinness but tastes fresher and less blunt. A touch of bitterness in the finish. Not complicated, but really well done. On tap at Broken Barrel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at RNH. Aroma is lots of roasted malt, a bit of smoke. Dry and roasty, bitter chocolate, a bit of caramel, finishes smoky. A very solid dry stout.

Tap @ CCB. A black beer with a dense brown head. Nose is loaded with roasty malt notes with lesser notes of coffee and a slight hint of smoke. Medium body with a creamy, soft mouth feel and ample carbonation. Wow, this beer is much better than I expected. The first thing that hit me in the flavor was fresh roasted coffee notes followed by dark malt, and touches of chocolate, caramel, and molasses. This is another great CCB stout.
