4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Telios (10) - Orlando, USA - MAR 18, 2010
draft @ RedLight. I ordered a pint for St. Paddy’s day...what a treat! This beer has a roasty dark chocolate aroma and a brown-black appearance with small off-white head. Despite the heavy appearance, the body is rather light, delivering a creamy, dry, roasted-malt taste with hints of dark chocolate and to a lesser extent coffee and nuts. Finishes clean and refreshing for such a dark beer... no cloying malt sweetness here. Very drinkable...if I didn’t have to work early the next day I would love to tip back 2 or 3 more pints.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 jbruner (135) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - APR 27, 2012
Poured a dark black with creamy white head from nitro tap at Proof on St. Patrick’s Day. Light scents of soy sauce and coffee. Taste is like a Guinness, but way better, with a little more roasted malts and a smooth finish. Good dry stout that you should try if you get the chance.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Chipalsa (703) - Florida, USA - APR 19, 2012
On nitro tap at CCB - it looked just like a Guinness but the body was a little more bubbly. The aroma is fantastic and almost earthy; dry leaves and cocoa but very light. This beer goes down smooth and rich with a very dry body. Cocoa at the end is bitter, light and refreshing sip after sip.

Nitro tap at fermentation. Black pour with a creamy tan head that doesn’t leave. Aroma is very roasty with some hints of dark bitter chocolate. Nice, light mouthfeel. Flavor is following suit of the aroma of good roasty malts and some light bitter chocolate. Not bad.

Pint at the brewery. Nitro. Pours a deep dark brown, almost black. Aroma is deep roasted malts, with little to no sweetness. Flavor is the same. Deep and dry, malty with a very faint caramel. Really nice flavor for a dry stout.
