On draft at Rustico (Ballston). The beer is hazy orange with a thin off-white cap. The aroma offers tropical fruits, oranges, assorted citrus. The habanero character is there, but mild. As in the scent, the habanero heat is merely a complement to the IPA and doesn’t overpower the other nice things going on, which is often the case when hot peppers are used in beer. Sweet, juicy peaches meld nicely with tangy, bitter hops and citrus. An interesting beer for sure. Definitely worth a try.

Drake (8617) - Free Union, Virginia, USA - MAY 9, 2014
Draft at Rustico Ballston. Pours a hazy orange color with a large creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of strong peach, mild fruity pepper notes with a mild heatness. The taste is mild pepper heat followed by sweet and tart peaches. Medium bodied, lingering tartness and spice. Nicely balanced. Good beer.

radagast83 (4748) - Fairfax, Virginia, USA - MAY 8, 2014
Draft at Rustico Ballston. Poured a hazy, golden dark-orange color with an off-white, medium sized head. Aroma was peaches, straight up peach juice. Tropical fruit notes. Flavor was more mild - light peaches, a touch of hot peppers. Lots of good, enjoyable heat on the finish with the habanero. Fun, enjoyable and certainly a beer I could repeat.

On tap at rustico, aroma is big juicy peach. Taste is dominated by peach, not much bitterness, and a light pepper finish, very quaffable

Tap at brewery. Hazy gold pour with thick white head. Huge peach aroma, some citrus hop notes. Light malt body with notes of peach and huge pepper spice. Heat lingers Long into aftertaste. Little too hot for me.

On tap at CCB. Aroma is light peach and hops, with some dirt notes. Flavor is similar with a very hot finish. That’s the biggest downfall of this one. It’s tolerable, but barely as far as the heat goes.

Pours a deep gold with a thick white head. Aroma of nice peaches with hops in the back. Taste has peaches right away but then the habanero attacks the throat. Pretty spicy, they weren't really messing around with the heat. Cool to try but way too hot to drink frequently. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
