POurs amber with tropical fruit notes. The peach is creamy and pronounced due to the bitter hops that envelop it. The bitterness plays nice and the light malt drives to a good finish.

On tap at Hawthornes. Clear honey brown with some edgy froth. Nose is peach, caramel, mango and pineapple. Medium body with a tingle. Taste is peach, pine and pink grapefruit. Peach sweetness balanced by the bitter hops. Delicious. Perfect for chillin’ on the deck.

Growler. Pours bright copper with a massive off white head. Aroma is rich peach cobbler, citrus hops. Flavor follows up with more peach cobbler. Just fantastic. Palate is fruity and slightly bitter. Good stuff.

Tap @ CCB: Nice orange color, floral nose with light cedar and hops, clean and fresh. Light malt and some spice in the flavor. Tasty IPA as usual from CCB with a nice fresh fruit spin. I think I like this better than the papaya.

thanks riversideak! light copper gold, peach and raw alcohol nose. alcohol dominates here, peach pit and juice peaks here and there, drinks more as a fruit beer.

Growler. Thanks alex. Pours a clear burnished medium amber with very little head. Loose spotty lace. Nice big forward peach nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toast, caramel, and tons of fresh fruit flesh on the mid palate. Long crisp piney finish. Great ipa.

32oz growler, thanks Alex and Dave. Pours a clear bright light copper with decent off white head. Definitely fruit forward in the nose, sweet peach, hint of pineapple, mango, light crystal malt sweetness underneath. Touch sweet up front, then picks up the same bitter cedar flavor that reminds me o the cedar jai alai, dry piney finish with some sweetness from the peach as well as the crystal malt. Drinks pretty nice.

Nose is that of the regular base IPA with a good deal of crystal malt, limes, earthy hop notes, toast, and some iced tea. The peach comes in lightly and helps balance some of the crystal malts. Pours orange amber, nice clarity, bubbly head and lace. The flavor is toasty with caramel malts, light iced tea, earthy woody hop notes, lime, and solid peach natural flavors throughout. Nice citrus bitterness and dry resiny notes linger. Quenching and drinkable. I am digging this more and more as I drink it. Thanks for hooking it up Dave.

Reviewed from notes. Thanks to Casey for this growler. Pours an orange apricot color into my tulip. Nose brings some really nice peach aromas with a bit of citrus fruit and some pine. Tropical notes abound. Taste is pretty good with some peach, although the nice bitterness an resin from the original Jai Alai is a bit muted. Great feel with a nice smoothness and body. Drinks incredibly well and overall is a very good variation on the original. Serving type: growler Reviewed on: 11-08-2010

32oz fresh growler from my buddy ibrew2or3. thanks so much dave! opens with a huge hiss, great sign, and pours a beautiful copper-gold with a thick, two-finger, rocky, off-white head that has great retention and leaves a tight sheet of lace. aroma is awesome with the signature tropical fruit notes of pineapple, mango, and passion fruit of Jai Alai backed up by sweet peach nectar, peach jelly candy, and hints of wet grass and light toffee. flavor is fantastic with the bright, sweet notes of peach flesh, peach pie filling, and peach sherbet bursting out ahead of the orange citrus, pineapple, and pine esters with a smooth note of crackery malt on the finish. palate is medium bodied and perfectly carbonated with a real smoothness and slight zing from the peach notes. i’ll have no problem crushing this growler. another winner from CCB. thanks again for this one, dave!
