2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Firkin, Tap 42. Muddy as hell - same day delivery, eh? Aroma is full of peach w some fruity hops underneath. Jai Alai base I presume. Tasye is muddy, w light peach and quite a bit too much alcohol in the finish. Well, not at all refined. Could be good, but gotta let it rest a day before serving.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft… CCB Fruit in the Room 2011… Pours hazy and amber with a small, creamy, white head that disappears in a flash. Aromatic standouts include peaches and spicy, peppery, woody hops. Medium to full-bodied with fizzy carbonation. Medium bitter with excellent peach flavor. Finishes bitter and a touch dry.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cigar City smokes NYC at Rattle N Hum. Peachy aroma, it smells likethe real thing rather than extract. Dark yellow body, little head. SMooth drink, though carbonation is right there. More of a pale hale in terms of bitterness tasted. Nice novelty.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAY 2, 2011 Tap at Hunahpu 2011. The pour is a hazy to mostly clear orange with a medium, rocky yellow head. Aroma is full peaches and cream ice cream, more like peach cobbler than tangy and fleshy peach. (Maybe it went in the mash and got cooked a little bit?). Taste is fully bitter, with oily peach cobbler and ice cream. Really good stuff. 3/14/2011 7/4/7/4/14=3.6
Growler consumed about two weeks after being filled. The pour is exquisite: a clear deep orange body is topped with a giant, yellow, ice cream, sheen and massively rocky whipped cream head. Amazing retention and lace. Aroma is really outstanding: fresh juicy peach, cooked peaches in dessert, peach cobbler. Very intense, full, and unmistakable. Taste is bitter, spicy, mild peach, sweet peach cobbler. Palate is soft, bitter, biting, and fairly intense. Oily and bitter rather than dry and astringent. Not super fresh but oh so good. Should probably be a regular CCB offering. 5/1/2011 8/5/7/4/15=3.9

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at CCB pouring crystal clear copper with gold edges and off white head. The aroma has a pleasing assertive sweet peach note that blends into chewy citrus very nicely. I then get the sense of pine and grassiness with sweet maltiness taking a supporting role in the background. The taste is kind of punchy with sweet ripe peach followed by chewy rich citrus hop flavor supported by a clean spicy hoppiness. By midway the hop bitterness murmurs to the surface providing a sense of pine and grassiness. Yes, I like this treatment.

Growler. Thanks alex. Pours a clear burnished medium amber with very little head. Loose spotty lace. Nice big forward peach nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toast, caramel, and tons of fresh fruit flesh on the mid palate. Long crisp piney finish. Great ipa.
