Fruit in the Room at CCB - Pours light red, milkly color with light white red head. Strawberries and tart in the nose. The taste is more tart, a little pucker. Strawberries and the Rhubarb blend together nicely. This beer is ridiculously good. Thanks, JW!!!

bottle 11/25/11. pink pour. white head. aroma and flavor are crazy salty rhubarb goodness, lemon, unripe strawberries, rotted peaches/vegetal and a mild tanginess on the finish. i am amazed at the quantity of rhubarb in this!! 8/4/8/4/16

(bottle shared by Dak at Black Friday). Pours a light hazy pink grapefruit color. Aroma has...strawberry and rhubarbb. Taste follows suit with some sweet and tart. Medium bodied with a tart, dry finish. This was a really nice beer.

Tasted at the Black Friday tasting and generously supplied be Dak. It pours murky opaque grapefruit juice mixed with strawberry enhanced lemon aid with almost no head. The aroma is rich and smooth yumminess derived from a pleasing strawberry note and thin rings of musty moldy earthy fruitiness. The taste has a pleasing tart earthy fruity freshness that works wonderfully with notes of strawberry, smooth yeastiness, rich earthy vegetable notes and a little bit of smooth sweet malts. Darn tasty and another great creation.

Bottle at Black Friday tasting. Weird and funky. Quite sour. Nicely captures the strawberry rhubarb flavor. A bit of cheap hooker in this one as well.

Pinkish pour. Nice white head. Aroma of berries and distinctly rhubarb, some cheesy funk. Flavor is tart and so fruity, the fruit really shines in another masterpiece. Awesome.

Draft… CCB Fruit in the Room 2011… This beer rocks!… Cloudy, pink grapefruit-colored ale with a small, creamy, white head. Fantastic retention. The tart, fruity nose provides striking notes of rhubarb and strawberry – more rhubarb than strawberry. Medium-bodied and creamy with laid-back carbonation. Mirroring the aroma, the flavor is quite fruity and very tart – lots of rhubarb, strawberry and acidity – even at room temperature. Finishes tangy, fruity and then dries out nicely. Another fantastic creation by John Wakefield!

On draft at Cigar City for Fruit in the Room. Pours a hazy pink with some particulate matter and a white head. Nose is strawberries, tartness, some bitter rhubarb, hints of berry, some seeds, and a vague sweetness blending with the tartness inherent in a berliner. Flavor is similar with strawberry rhubarb pie in front followed by tart and sweet in mid finishing with a pleasant berry and tartness. Light to medium in body and delicious overall.

Poured a brilliant electric pink with a soft pink head. Nose is heavy fresh strawberries and sour fruits. Flavor is a tart fruit, lactic sourness, bitter rhubarb, fresh strawberries. Pretty amazing.

On tap for Fruit in the Room. Poured a hazy light pink color with an off white pink head. Aromas of tart strawberries. Tastes like a strawberry rhubarb pie filling. Left a sweet/acidic aftertaste in my mouth.
