not a bad pale ale honestly, i would take it over Sierra Nevada any day. a good spice hoppiness that isnt overpowering. not real exciting, but solid and one they should make on a regular basis.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at Proof. Cloudy orange pour with a white head. Nose is dank hops, citrus, and sweet malts coming through. Flavor is sticky hops, orange sherbert, and graininess. Medium bodied with a short bitter finish.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a light copper color on tap with dissipating white head and little to no lacing. Aroma of grapefruit and pineapple. Taste is light on the flavor, slight bitter finish. Not as good as I would expect, slightly disappointed.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Review from notes taken at Cigar City Brewing taproom on 7/15/12. Poured on draft into a Cigar City shaker pint glass.
Appearance: Pours a hazy medium golden-brown with a 3 finger foamy off-white head. Excellent head retention and lacing.
Smell: Lemon zest, pale malt and grapefruit.
Taste: Honey and bitter grassy hops throughout. Bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with a low amount of carbonation.
Drinkability: Good drinkability. You could have a few without any trouble.
Overall: Very good beer overall. A well-balanced American pale ale. This one is definitely worth a try.

On tap at the brewery. Nose is floral with tons of orange essence and other citrus elements. Lemon and tangerine come to mind. Pour is light orange and hazy with a white head. Taste is sweet citrus upfront with some grassy hops and a lightly bitter finish. A good drinker.

7/14/12. On tap at Green Room. Hazy orange pour with a nice khaki head. Surprisingly light aroma with bits of grain and citrus. Sweet orange flavor with a bit of malt. Disappointing.

Pours a pale gold. Aroma light on hops but they are there. Taste follows, not too bitter. Light and easy to drink. Nice beer for a hot day
