3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 danielcurtis81 (1511) - San Diego, California, USA - AUG 22, 2012Served from on tap at the Stone 16th Anniversary Celebration. The appearance is a nice brown black hue. Not too much head. The flavors and aromas are exactly as advertised. Loads of chocolate covered peanut butter cups. The peanut butter is the most pronounced with a nice dose of malted chocolate balls. It tasted great but not a flavor profile I could do a lot of.

Dark brown pour, small and light brown head. Flavors are all over the place. Some sweet malts, a hint of spice, chocolate, fruit, toffee. Enjoyable and fun to dissect.

I expected to hate this beer. But I definitely did not. It’s a thick black thing that smells like chocolate, coffee, vanilla, and oak... the last maybe an impression from the vanilla. A sweetish brew with just a touch of savory, like lightly salted pretzels coated in dark chocolate, mashed up and moistened with bourbon. Would be difficult to drink 12 ounces, but easy to share it.

Had at Hunahpu. Didn't read much up on this until after I got it. Literally pure liquid peanut butter. Can't drink much of it, but it was great.

Ccb hunahpu day on tap. Smells like peanut butter and cognac. Poor is dark with a thick white head. The first thing I tasted was grape jelly. Reminds me of the pre packaged pbjs I got as a kid but with a nuttrr butter cookie finish. Thick and scrumptious.

Hunahpu Day pour #6. Pours black with creamy looking kahki head. Aroma is peanut butter and chocolate, an maybe jelly? Neat. Flavor is dry peanuts, a bit of chocolate, and a strong caramel finish. Really like the uniqueness here. Pretty thick porter, but soft caronation makes it feel lighter. Nice beer for sure.
