On tap at CCB. Pours a cloudy, dark orange color with a reddish hue and topped by a small off white head of foam that settles quickly to a thin film and leaving some lines of lace around the glass. The aroma is really nice showing notes of cinnamon, spices, and fresh plums to go with the funky yeast, must, and some lactic sourness. The plums and spices really shine though. The flavor follows suit with the fresh plums and lactic sourness to go with some tart fruit skins, cinnamon spices, pepper, earth, and the funky guavas from the base beer. The funky yeast from the Guava Grove starts to make itself known on the back end. Just a touch acidic from the active yeast. Medium bodied, smooth with subtle carbonation that leads to a spicy, funky, fruity finish. This is a really nice treatment to the Guava base with a really nice aroma. Good beer, really enjoyed this one.

I really liked this. Aroma has spice, pepper, cinnamon, fruit, lots of grape, plums and sourness. Flavor is sweet, sour, candy like, hints of spice, lots of pie like spice, cinnamon, cake and pepper. Tart fruit, plum and some cherry, little bit of yeast character. Awesome.

Draft at CCB. Pours amber colored with a medium beige head. Aroma is vinegar with all sorts of fruits...mostly well, plums and other dark fruits...cherries and figs. Flavor is really good...Sour cherries, plums, figs, citrus, champagne...Medium body, quite puckering. Overall...probably my favorite of the style so far.

Tap at BT. At least this one was pretty nice- way less aceto than the passion saison. Pours almost the same color- bright peach skinned, pinkish sunset red with hints of violet. Aroma is less aceto, good fruitiness, plum, dark skins, low acetone, musty, tart light vegetable, slight spice, pepper, phenolic and celery salt, funk and good lacto and brett sourness. Flavor is more vege, plums, skins, plastic, phenol, earth, good lacto sourness, some hints of tannins, tartaric acids from the skins, spicy cardamon, coriander, celery, and pepper. finish is dry- but overall is a bit muddy. Still enjoyable.

Tap at Blind Tiger.
Pours like grapefruit juice, hazy with no head. Very strong fruit aroma with plum, cherry, and a bit of cinnamon spice. The taste is very sour, almost overwhelming, makes it a bit hard to finish.
Overall, very tasty but a bit too tart.

Tap at Blind Tiger. Pours like guava juice. Nice aroma of black cherry and candied sugar with a touch of cinnamon spice. Flavor is patented Guava Grove juiciness (grapefruit and guava) with a touch of red pepper and a surprisingly sharp level of acetone. A touch of nail polish comes through, but the finish has plenty of guava juice and pepper. Really nice level of acidity with a spice level that complements things well.

On tap at the Blind Tiger during their Cigar City event. Pours a hazy and headless papaya juice color. Spicy cinnamon on the nose, and just tons of raw fresh plums. Most intense plum aroma I’ve ever smelled on a beer. Lightly acetic with some spicy acid to it. Vanilla flavors, and a lot of that goo that ends up around the cherries in pie filling. Light acid and cinnamon on the finish. Very crisp and yummy.
