McGarvey drove this growler from Tampa to Philly for me, thanks dude! The aroma is amazing - nutmeg and pie crust, buttery toffee, and bubblegum blended awesomely. It pours the murkiest brown amber color with a big creamy light tan head - just as I predicted it would be. The flavor is nutmeg, caramel, bubblegum, and smooth baked malts like crust again as it was in the nose. This beer is truly awesome with such a smooth but full and creamy mouthfeel, as Joey and the boys pride themselves in! Well done!

Poured a REAL ugly murky brown (looked awesome). Nose was huge spices, wheat, tea, mint, cinnamon, mild caramel, earth. Flavor was subdued spice, big wheat, grain, caramel, mild hops. Very cool beer. Easy to drink.

Complex nose of rosey floral notes, something between a rich caramel and creamered coffee; bubblegum and butterscotch. Lots of kick up front but it mellows out quite a bit throughout. Interesting beer.
