Ccb table saison 12/13/10 clear golden yelow. Growler... more like medicine bottle from dak. A and f are pretty textbook... Not a bad thing. Straw, wet, noble hops, lemon, minerals. Dry and crisp. Very easy to drink with lunch.... which is a pretty good thing by my standards. 7/3/7/4/15+

On tap at proof. Funky grain aroma. Tastes are bready, straw, lemon bitter and clove. Has a salty seawater vibe. Interesting.

Review from notes at World of Beer - Fort Myers on 9/17/11. Poured on draft into a tulip. Appearance: Cloudy medium gold with a 3 finger foamy snow why head. Excellent lacing. Smell: Wine grape hulls with a touch of vinegar. Taste: Light grains up front followed by a touch of sourness ending with a decent hoppy finish. Mouthfeel: Light-to-medium-bodied with a good amount of carbonation. Drinkability: Good drinkability. The low ABV% means you could drink several of these. Overall: Pretty good beer overall. Itís below the very high standards of Cigar City, in my opinion, but itís still a solid beer. Not my favorite saison by any means, but itís worth a shot.

Pours a cloudy golden color. Very nice citrus on the nose. Taste is of citrus, pine, and hay. Very easy drinking and refreshing, something perfect for Florida.

Cloudy, golden yellow brew with a thin white head, some subtle lacing. fruity and light floral hop, a little spicy and peppery. Fruity yeast notes in the taste with a solid barnyard funk.. Great saison and very easy drinking.

On tap at the WOB. Clear pale yellow pour with a white head. Slight funk and citrus aromas. The taste is light and refreshing with airy floral notes, Belgian yeast, herbs, and lemon zest.

Tap at Green Room Brewing in Jax Beach, FL. The pour is a hazy, ultra light yellow with a large, healthy, bright white head. Heavy effervescence. Large webby lace. Nose is mildly funky with lemon zest and oatmeal. As it warms it comes across as normal Belgian yeast phenolic like Duvel. Taste is oatmeal heavy with a small lactic sour tinge. Yellow apples and apricot comes through but the beer is still on the sweet side for saison and on the Duvel side of Belgian strong ale. Not really super on style, but refreshing. Palate is a little fuller than wanted.

Tallahassee, Fl. - Fermentation Lounge - on tap. Dark orange pour, nice white puffy head that leaves plenty of lacing. Sour aroma, some barnyard notes. Flavor is sour as well and a bit odd for a Saison in my opinion. Has those same barnyard notes found in Orval that I find interesting, but not all that appealing. Some brief spicy and citrus notes redeem it somewhat. Thick enough mouthfeel.
