COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Tocobaga lived off the bounty of Tampa Bay hundreds of years before the arrival of the Spanish in the 1500’s. They were potters, tool makers and the only Florida natives to grow maize. The large platform mounds they built are still with us today, with one of the largest found near Old Tampa Bay in Safety Harbor, Florida. Climb to the top, and with a little imagination, you can see Tampa Bay as they did. Graphic design by Eric Swanson. Recipe by Tim Ogden.

On tap at Churckey for the Funky Buddha and CCB event. Caramel malt and buscuit notes lead to mild fruity notes and herbal grassy spiciness.

Awesome amber ale from Cigar City... Pours hazy red with a mild white/off white head. Aroma is somewhat mild, decent hop character; but a great flavor! Rich hop character followed by a smooth caramel malt that’s just spot on. Drinks somewhat like an American Strong Ale with the strength of the hops, but the amber malts/caramel kinda changes that.

Tap at Rattle N Hum. Amber pour with aroma of citrus and some bread and caramel. Tastes of a big grapefruit hop bite with a pretty good malt background. Pretty nice!

Pours a rich cherrywood color with a thick lacy head. Aroma of bitter hops, if I was blindfolded I would think this is an ipa. Taste follows, easier to drink than an ipa. This is such a solid beer, ive never been impressed with reds, that is until now ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pint on tap at The Pub in Tampa. Pours a red/copper color as expected, moderate cream colored head. Aroma is sweet and spicy with some caramel maltiness. Also some roastiness and fresh hoppiness as well, like a resin or a floral aroma. Taste is mildly bitter and very enjoyable. Balanced out by sweetness. Full body, active on the palate, fizzy with a mildly bitter finish. Good option.

Bottle. Pours red with a beige head, good retention/lace. Aroma of citrus/resin/pine hops, caramel, toffee. Taste is moderately bitter, grapefruit/pine, some caramel malt sweetness. Palate is soft, creamy, bitter finish. More of an IPA than an amber, very good.
