Sample at the tap room. This brew pours a hazy reddish color with a medium thin light beige head that recedes steadily. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops and caramel malt. Medium body with flavors of grassy hops, toasted malt, caramel and citrus. The finish is hoppy with a fruity aftertaste. Above average overall.

Pours a rich cherrywood color with a thick lacy head. Aroma of bitter hops, if I was blindfolded I would think this is an ipa. Taste follows, easier to drink than an ipa. This is such a solid beer, ive never been impressed with reds, that is until now

Pint on tap at The Pub in Tampa. Pours a red/copper color as expected, moderate cream colored head. Aroma is sweet and spicy with some caramel maltiness. Also some roastiness and fresh hoppiness as well, like a resin or a floral aroma. Taste is mildly bitter and very enjoyable. Balanced out by sweetness. Full body, active on the palate, fizzy with a mildly bitter finish. Good option.

In short: A rich caramelized amber ale with sharp resinous/citric/grapefruity hopping. A nourishing IPA classified as an Amber Ale
How: Bottle 12oz. Consumed when very fresh one week after getting it from GodOfThunder who assured me it was extra-super-fresh.
The look: Cloudy dark amber topped by a medium beige head with medium retention
In long: Nose is IPA-hoppy bursting with hops resin with a citrusy/coniferous character. Taste has lots of creamy caramelized malts, some sweet red fruits, plenty of tasty bitter hops that blend a sticky resinous character with refreshing fruity flavors. Also notes of sharper hops with a bitter grapefruits and citric lemons character. Also plenty of wet grass. Bitterness level is medium-high. Full body with a slightly sticky mouthfeel. This was a tasty nourishing beer, enjoyable. Another nice new beer I didn’t know about, to me drinking and ratings beers is more than a hobby, it’s a passion, and I wish my wife and entire family would stop using air quotes when referring to my “passion”.
