Draft at Tucker Duke’s Lunchbox in Deerfield Beach. Snifter. Pours a dark brown with a small beige head. Nice aroma of roasted malts, pine and pine resin, cloves, and anise. The flavor was close with a nice pine finish. Actually was close to the Wandering Pelican they produced. Great roasted finish as well. Medium light body, moderate carb. Great Black IPA.

At the Oblivion Tap Room, Orlando with A and Z , pours a dark black color with a velvety java head. Nose is deep citrus and hops. Taste is full of citrus and bold hops, and bitter sweet, Finish is bittersweet citrus and hops. Quaff Score 8 / 10

On tap at Oblivion Taproom, Orlando. Pours black with a brown head as nice hoppy, citrusy, roasted malt aroma. Taste is delicious, tons of hoppy, citrus, grapefruit notes with dark, roasted malt and fruity notes into the roasty, bitter finish. Great black IPA

32oz crowler from burg326. Poured a medium density pitch black with a smaller to average sized creamy light beige head. Aroma is nice roasty, chocolate pudding skins, slight hint of metallic notes, roasted pineapple and roasted yellow grapefruit. Meeium body, creamy, average carbonation. Flavor is good, nice roasty malts, some burnt toast, light charcoal, burmt citrus fruits, bitter hops.Yum yum yum

(Rating #8,800) Crowler... Pitch black pour with a mid-sized, creamy, tan head. Good retention. The bouquet is roasty, offering fudge, toasted tree nuts and a hint of vanilla moreso than the charcoal and dank hoppiness I was expecting. Full-bodied with tingly carbonation. The hops show up in the flavor – pine and deeply roasted malts. Not burnt and dank as most black IPAs. Reminiscent of Alpha Klaus by Three Floyds. ”Big ol’ can of beer” provided by burg326!

On tap. Black body with lasting tan sheen. Chocolate, pine, black malt aromas. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Smooth semi sweet chocolate, black malt flavors with a nice pine hoppy bitterness to balance____drying finish---very tasty.

Crowler thanks to Matt. Pours a dark brown with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong pine and lemon. Medium mouthfeel with rich malt, light pine, and roasty finish. Very good.

Black pour with tan head. Aroma is sweet musty chocolate. Taste is similar to nose but ends on a roast malt.
