Pours a dark black color, small head, on tap at WOB in West Palm Beach . Nose is wood and smokey with predominant oak. Taste is vanilla and and smokey. Finishes with some mild bitterness. Great farmale. Quaff Score 8 / 10

On tap at WOB. Pours black with a small brown head and aroma of fruits and roasted malt. Taste is of roasty, of dark fruits, roasted malt, vanilla, nuts, aand chocolate with a long, yeasty finish. Great, unique saison by CCB

Pours dark unclear coffee brownish black coffee in color with beige head. Aroma brings wheat like saison yeast notes. Flavor of malts are tamer but present, saison yeast is also there but not too funky, more grassy. Body is light creaminess, not roasted as much as I expected.

Pours dark black with a light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt and saison yeast. Tastes like a roasty saison, maybe the first black saison Iíve had that tastes like a saison. Very nice.

Draft... Black pour with a small, creamy, off-white head. Great retention. The aromatic standouts are deep-roast grains, dark chocolate and banana. Full-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and lazy carbonation. The flavorís foundation is roasted malts, unsweetened chocolate and banana, with only a rumor of spicy farmhouse phenols and acidity. Finishes singed and faintly tart.

A deep dark saison with a thin lacing brown head. In aroma, a nice peated malt with dark fruits and soy sauce. In mouth, a nice smooth peaty and lightly salty malt with smooth dark fruits, fusel alcohol, interesting. On tap at brewery, Dec. 9 2012.

Tap at Oblivion. Pours a light black. Big roasted grain, Belgian yeast esters in aroma. Smooth light malt body with notes of roasted grain in taste. Pretty good.

On draft at CCB. Pours a medium brown with a tan head. Nose is cocoa, earth, nutmeg, roasted nuts, and some yeast. Flavor follows the nose: a cocoa, earthy, nutty, and yeasty saison. Light to medium in body and an interesting beer that seems to meld more than two styles.

3/4/13. On tap at Dahliaís. Deep brown pour with a nice khaki head. Light spice and ester aroma with plenty of chocolate and roast. Lightly estery and sweet flavor with a touch of spice and again plenty of chocolate and roast is popping through. Nice!
