COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tropical Heatwave Wheat Ale is an American Wheat Ale, generously hopped with Kohatu hops from New Zealand. The Kohatu hops provide a very tropical flavor that fit perfectly with this summer ale.

Thanks to blutt59 for sharing this bottle. The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is full of lemons and wheat, with a good dose of coriander thrown in. The flavor is similar. I get a lot of tropical and citrus fruits such as lemons and oranges, as well as some orange and wheat notes. There is also a low amount of bitterness. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A very refreshing, easy to drink wheat ale.

Poured a hazy orange yellow color, with aromas of wheat, banana, and citrus, not much tropical aromas coming through. Flavor is a light combo of the aromas, very sessionable beer in my book, mostly a lighter wheat beer, that would be good to grill out with in the heat. Good Summer beer.

750 ml bottle shared by Keir- thanks again, Keir! Fun label: "31st Annual!" "WMNF 88.5 FM", "May 12, 2012", and so forth. Pours a hazy, pale gold with a small white head that lasts all the way down. Aroma of wheat, tropical fruits, lemon citrus, straw, and caramel malts. Flavor of bready and sweet malts, citrus, mango, and wheat. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a fruity, wheaty mouthfeel. Really nice fruity wheat ale.

Bottle shared by Jimmie. Poured a pale stray yellow that was slightly hazy with an average sized pillowy bright white head. Aroma of banana, cloves, light wheat, some grassy notes and a slight touch of white pepper. Flavor is very similar to the aroma with a touch of some tropical fruit and citrus rind. Very nice

Lively hazy golden pour with a pillowy white head. Aroma was full of wheat with notes of lemon, grain and spicy hops. Flavors were grainy and dry with light notes of lemon and earthy hops, some spice. Mouthfeel was somewhat tingly and light. Finished slightly bitter and bone dry. Overall pretty refreshing.

Pour from a 750ml bottle. Appearance is yellow-orange, slightly hazy with ample carbonation. Head is small and frothy. Aroma isn’t strong, notes of wheat and citrus with hops behind it. Light body, but a creamy mouthfeel with lively carbonation - the finish is a lingering subtle hop bitterness. Taste is hop bitterness with citrus and maybe fruit beneath it. Nice for a hot day, refreshing but without the sweetness you sometimes get in wheat ales. Enjoyed it.
