Tropical Heatwave Wheat Ale is an American Wheat Ale, generously hopped with Kohatu hops from New Zealand. The Kohatu hops provide a very tropical flavor that fit perfectly with this summer ale.

(750ml bottle thanks to blutt59) cloudy light gold, creamy white bubbles, nose is sweet wheat, cotton candy, bit tropical. Taste of wheat, light fruit, peach, stale wheat, not great tasting. Stale taste.

Bottle shared by Jimmie. Poured a pale stray yellow that was slightly hazy with an average sized pillowy bright white head. Aroma of banana, cloves, light wheat, some grassy notes and a slight touch of white pepper. Flavor is very similar to the aroma with a touch of some tropical fruit and citrus rind. Very nice

Lively hazy golden pour with a pillowy white head. Aroma was full of wheat with notes of lemon, grain and spicy hops. Flavors were grainy and dry with light notes of lemon and earthy hops, some spice. Mouthfeel was somewhat tingly and light. Finished slightly bitter and bone dry. Overall pretty refreshing.

Pour from a 750ml bottle. Appearance is yellow-orange, slightly hazy with ample carbonation. Head is small and frothy. Aroma isn’t strong, notes of wheat and citrus with hops behind it. Light body, but a creamy mouthfeel with lively carbonation - the finish is a lingering subtle hop bitterness. Taste is hop bitterness with citrus and maybe fruit beneath it. Nice for a hot day, refreshing but without the sweetness you sometimes get in wheat ales. Enjoyed it.

Pour out of 750 mL bottle, thanks Aaron! Pour is hazy orange yellow with fluffy white head, aroma has notes of wet grain, lemon slight biscuit, touch of spice notes. Taste is wet grain, biscuit, slight lemon, touch of biscuit and some grainy notes, finished fairly sweet and slightly spicy, finishing fairly dry. Interesting.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of markwise. Thanks Mark! JetsonFest II. A bit hazy, yellow appearance with a big white head. A bit bready, dull lemon/tangerine citrusy, somewhat spicy aroma. Bready, wheat grainy, a little earthy bitter, lemon citrusy flavor. Pretty forgettable.
