A Mes rate. Bottle left over from our wedding haul. Damn good. A strange combo but it works well. Very acidic and sweet. Reminds me of La Folie in a lot of ways. The lemon comes through really well but doesnít take over with bitterness. Hint of Coca Cola on the nose that is really pleasing. Fruity as hell, bags of character but not aggressive. Really really good. There is just something holding it back from being brilliant. I think itís just slightly too acidic.

Three year old bottle shared thanks to Tim and Rachel! Pours an opaque brownish red with fluffy tan head. Aroma is heavy sour, dark fruits, tannic wood notes. Taste follows, hints of phenolic bitterness. No hint of the booze, awesome.

Bottle courtesy of thebaldwizard. Cloudy deep garnet amber with a large peach tinged head. Tart lactic berry and funky barnyard aroma. Sour fruity berry, hibiscus, barnyard funk, and oak flavor. Just enough sweetness to balance out the sourness. Also a very slight bitterness in the finish. Medium body, lively carbonation. Very enjoyable.

DC tasting. 750ml bottle Unfiltered. Off the hook De Dolle Reserva sour beer. Big sour notes, balanced by thick, sugary brown malt. Maybe the best CCB Iíve ever had. Red wine vinegar. World Class. Wow.
