Sample: Pours woody, cola brown with a small tan head. Scent is dark grape wine, blackcurrants. Taste is sticky sweet dark berry. Sweet followed by a puckering tartness and lactic sour. Funky.

Bottle courtesy of thebaldwizard. Cloudy deep garnet amber with a large peach tinged head. Tart lactic berry and funky barnyard aroma. Sour fruity berry, hibiscus, barnyard funk, and oak flavor. Just enough sweetness to balance out the sourness. Also a very slight bitterness in the finish. Medium body, lively carbonation. Very enjoyable.

Bottle. Dark cherry colored pour with pink head. Very tart cherry and acetic aroma tones. Flavor isn’t overly acid tart like I was anticipating. Tart fruit and candy like tones.

DC tasting. 750ml bottle Unfiltered. Off the hook De Dolle Reserva sour beer. Big sour notes, balanced by thick, sugary brown malt. Maybe the best CCB I’ve ever had. Red wine vinegar. World Class. Wow.

First time I had this was my first experience with a truly awful beer. Fortunately, this has improved significantly in the past year. Lots of ingredients bumping heads here, reminds me briefly of b3 Consecration before turning south. Not awful, far from being good.

Cloudy deep purple - red beer, big frothy tan head. Nose of lactose and sourish fruits. Light dry palate. Lots of Duchesse Du Bourgogne like sour fruits. Then there is lemon, subtle blackcurrant and jammy hibiscus. Semi dry finish. Tasty little sour, just a tad vinegary but hugely drinkable.

Thanks for sharing, Jason! The beer was the highlight of the evening. It pours to a deep mahogany body that is extremely hazy with a creamy dark tan head. The aroma is sour. Things like rhubarb and currants. Elderberry like St. Germain. The flavor is very tart with rhubarb, currants, Flemish yeasts, and acetic sourness. The palate is rich and medium bodied. Tart and acidic. A little aceticness. Amazing beer!

750mL bottle. Poured deep purply-brown with a well-retained medium beige head. The aroma picked up sour berries, oak, and layers of yummy currants over caramel and chocolatey malts. The flavor found sour oak, currants, and cherries throughout, with floral and lesser metallic accents.. berry meat and some chocolate malt at the core.. sour finish with oak, berries, and a little fruity funk. Medium-bodied and well-carbonated on the palate.. sour and bracing.. good feel and flow.
