tap pours cloudy brown with a tall frothy tan head. Sweet brandy and apple nose with some spicing. Sweet caramel and spice like a rich ice cream. So rich and creamy, the barrel is nice and lends alot of sweetness that mix well with the spiced character of the WWWW. I love it.

Murky brown pour. Caramel, toffee, chocolate malt and brandy aroma. Tasty is chewy toffee, sweet malt, chocolate and touches of brandy. Seems a little too complicated and didn’t blend quite right.

Growler shared by Snojerk123 at Woodshop 5.0 (2/20/10): Pours a transparent dark amber copper with a thin ring of off-white bubbles. Aroma of sweet caramel and light fruits with some oaky brandy warmth. Starts with good fullness and rich sweet caramel toffee with some light apple fruity complexity before a warming crisp finish. An enjoyable and complex brew, but could use some time to mellow.

POurs a very dark brown with hints of ruby, little to no head. Nose is huge brandy, dark fruits, wood, sweet toffee, cherry, hints of oxidation. Flavor is BIG bold sherry and wood notes, sweet caramel and toffee, dark fruits, figs, raisin, prunes, dark cherries, earthy hops. This is amazing. The Apple Brandy barrel treatments are hands down incredible.

Draft at Rattle ’N’ Hum CCB event. Poured an orangey brown with a small whiteish head. Aroma is loaded with brandy and is a little overpowering, secondary notes of maple syrup, spice, grassy hops and chocolate. The body is on the fuller side with lots of alcohol heat and strong carbonation for a barrel aged beer. The flavor is cloying from sweet apple brandy and has hints of vanilla, syrup and spice. Despite the heat this one made for a nice complex sipper to slow me down during a marathon rating day.
