Au fût @ CCB. Un traitement sympa de cette bière de saison et pour une fois l’usage de la myrtille est bien rendu et rajoute un aspect vraiment unique à la bière, le tout est suivi d’une bonne douceur de la vanille. J’ai vraiment bien apprécié. Le reste de cette bière est identique à la version régulière de Winter Warmer.

Had a really nice deep purple/blue/rich brown color. Almost like blueberry pancake syrup (if i may take inspiration from the previous rate). Nose was huge fresh blueberry and lots of sweet malt. Flavor was sweet blueberries, sweeter caramel. Very sweet. Good to sample.

The blueberry essence comes across on top much like a late night hangover delaying pancake at IHOP doused with their signature blueberry syrup. BVWWWW also sticks to the roof of ones mouth, and everything else it touches, in a similar manner as the aforementioned breakfast topping and the aroma comes back again and again in a peculiar staggering finish. The vanilla made for a nice backing and a light hop undertone came through pleasingly, but the intense sweetness at the end made for a taxing finish.
