On tap at RNH. Poured a dark brown color. Small head that faded fast, lacing was alright. Aromas of plum, figs, sour fruits, peat, and wood. Taste was malty, and layered with notes of dates, purp grapes, and some cinnamon or clove spice. Excellent.

Beautiful aroma of bourbon, chocolate. Nice deep brown color. The flavor is very enjoyable, like the aroma, bourbon, chocolate, fruit. Thick, and oily in mouthfeel. Sweet, bourbon finish. Awesome.

Tap at RNH. Dark brown and hazy. Aroma is very strong, sweet, pretty overwhelming, syrupy with some spice, boozy. Taste is very sweet, cloying, some dark fruit, raisins, and dates, a bit woody. There were a few good things going on here but the sweetness just completely overwhelmed them and made them all part of the background instead fo being a key component.

Draft. Pours a bruin body with an off white head. Hints of sugar cane reminds me of a good rum or brandy in terms of the sweet warmth this gives off. Silky and a touch sweet with a solid warmth and dark fruit tones. Solid offering.

Draft. Pours dark brown with almost no head. Whiskey sweet aroma on a sweet malty base. The flavor has sweet caramel malt, sweet whiskey, and dark fruits. Just a touch too sweet for me. Still good though.

Pour is very dark with little to no head. Nose is sweet and of dark fruits. Taste is the same, dominated by plums and brown sugar. As it warms the alcohol warmth shines through.

Rattle N Hum, Cigar City smokes NYC event. Brown coloured body with no head or noticeable lace. bourbon taste, bourbon aroma, sugar, very sweet. Average mouthfeel. Not very complex malting, just cloying sweet. Good drinkability though not bang on the style of an old ale..

Draft at rnh for the cigar city event. Pours a dark plum colored body with no head. Aroma is fantastic - notes of tart raisins, cherry, and plum. Mouthfeel is great with sweet Bourbon notes, dark fruits, tart, and oak.

Pours extremely dark brown to black in color, not much of a head at all (it had already faded by the time it got served). Aroma was somewhat thick with notes of port wine, plums, and brown sugar. Flavor is sweet at first then transitions into a welcoming boozy warmth.
