Bottle, pours amber/brown with beige head. Smells sweet, with malts and citrus. Taste is great, very complex caramel, fruits, citrus, and a hoppy finish. Love the full body of this beer, and it warms you from the inside out. Iíll be picking this one up whenever I can find it.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
22oz bottle. Sweet sweet aroma. Very nice appearance with its copper and tan head. It paints a nice warm picture. Not as sweet to the taste as the aroma gave. This is big beer with nice citrus notes and a delicious malt taste. Best Winter I have had this year.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured a cloudy brown color with an aggressive light tan head. Average lacing. The aroma was toffee, malts and chocolate. The flavor had a lot going on, with toffee and chocolate being mixed with spicy malts along with citrus and pine. Almost too much going on. Felt a little distracted. The mouthfeel was medium plus and the alcohol was well hidden.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 ml bottle shared with family on christmas eve. This one pours a dark and hazy amberish brown color topped by a small head of tan colored foam that shows good retention. Tiny rings of lacing circle the glass. The aroma starts off with some chocolate, burnt caramel malt, and dark fruit. A good amount of piney and citrus hop bitterness follow adding balance to the fruit and sugar. The flavor follows with rich toffee, cocoa, and brown sugar followed nicely by an ample amount of pine and bitter grapefruit hops. Very tasty with a great flavor combination. Full bodied and smooth with subtle carbonation just like you would expect for such a beer that finishes with a slight warming and a touch sticky from all the hops. This is a very unique twist on the style and very well executed. I canít wait to have this again and try the humidor version.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A Mes rate. Bottle at Chris Oís Night of the Gaylords.
Rich amber brown with a decent off white head. Big burnt caramel and plenty of chocolate. Lots of sweetness from the sugar and caramel notes. Lightly burnished and some late tasty bitterness. Good fruity hints too. Alcohol is almost invisible making it almost downable. Damn good stuff.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 ml bottle via trade with smith4498 - Pours a brown color with a one and a half finger thick light tan head. Light lacing. Aroma is sweet malt, light chocolate, and esters. Flavor is much of the same. The finish is a little bitter and the esters linger with a bit of dry roastiness. Medium body. A nice beer. Thanks Jason.
