Light unclear medium brown amber color with a average, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, fruity - mango, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange, berry - cherry, light alcohol. Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, chilli - peppery spiced finish. Body is medium, texture is oily -creamy and sticky, carbonation is soft. [20091229]

Bottled at RBESG 2010 Grand Tasting. An unclear nut brown beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, nuts, malt, caramel, and wood. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, nuts, and wood, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. The body is thick, like caramel sauce.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of daknole. Pours a cloudy and opaque amber with a beige head. The aroma is quite sophisticated, citrus and exotic fruits. Medium body, caramel and sweet fruits yet quite citric and hoppy with a dry bitterness. A very complex beer. 230410

75 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is fruity and caramelish, rather inviting. Fruity, caramelish and slight sticky malty. Nice fruity and caramelish finish. Quite straight forward yet nicely balanced. A bit sticky in texture.

Hazy dark amber color; generous creamy head. Malty aroma, a bit dusty, with a late cheesy touch, perfumy too. Rich malt flavor, caramel, sweet; chocolate and some leather. Strong bitterness. Solid brew, very good.

Dark brown color; medium sized creamy head. Dark malt aroma, lightly woody and alcoholic. Strong mouthfeel, full malt flavor and strong chocolate, quite sweet still, with a nice and sharp woody vein; solid bitterness. Very good.

Bottle @ Papsø. Thanks. Pours unclear dark brown with a small white head on top. Nose is deep and vinous. Phat caramel, barrel and toffee. Full bodied. Sticky and oily. Deep malty caramel flavor with a touch of liquorice and alcohol. Dry end with a good deal of citrussy hops. Nice one..
