Draft… CCB Fruit in the Room 2011… Clear yellow ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Aroma-wise, big-time watermelon accompanies typical, understated Belgian wit characteristics. Light bodied and coarse with stinging carbonation. The flavor leans toward the bitter side of balance, but this baby is loaded with watermelon essence. Although abundant, the hops are not overbearing - simply a bittering agent and nice accompaniment to the loads of watermelon flavor provided. Crisp, fruity, bitter finish that ends up a bit astringent and quite dry.

Tap at FITR. Pours a hazu yellow with a thin white head. Very light watermelon aroma with hints of wheat malt. Taste is more of the same with more of the watermelon coming through. Tasty and refreshing.

On draft at Cigar City for Fruit in the Room 2011. Pours somewhat hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is bits of watermelon along with some light citrus from the FL Cracker Wit. Flavor is similar with the watermelon emerging through the nice home that the wit has made. Light in body and nice overall.

Pours a clear yellow with no head. Hints of pink. Nose is fresh cut watermelon, yeast and grains. Flavor is a super refreshing watermelon and crisp malt. This beer was impressive.

Fruit in the room, poured a hazy yellow and aroma of watermellon. Tastes like the cracker wit with watermelon added. Had a nice sweetness of watermelon, and made it refreshing. Good beer to grill with.

Fruit in the Room 2011. Nose is pure watermelon with a faint amount of spice and malt. Really good nose...very refreshing. Taste is equally refreshing and full of watermelon flavor. I think the wit worked very well with this because neither flavor over shadowed the other. A good balance. It’s pretty much florida cracker plus watermelon. Simple, yet great.
