On tap at CCB poured a dark yellow color with aromas of white chocolate, vanilla, grain, and booze. Flavors were the same grainy up front with white chocolate, vanilla and booze. Could only do one.

Copper colored pour. Small white head. Cream aroma with a sharp twang. Taste is creamy. Weird. Should not be creamy. But it is. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Cigar City. Orange pour. Strange earthy grain aroma. Tastes are white chocolate and advise. Sugary citrus. Interesting, but not my thing.

Sample pre Firkin Friday. Poured a hazy yellow. Nose was heavy white chocolate. Pretty damn remarkable actually. I’m not a white chocolate fan and was really skeptical of this treatment, but this was tasting remarkable. The soft chocolate flavor was perfect and you still got the nice subtleties from the cream ale.

Poured up via firkin at the Cigar City Tasting room. It has a hazy copper to gold body holding up a tiny loose white head. The aroma begins sort of neutral and then quick offers up sweet chocolate, some earthiness and then a bit of a lemon like citrus note. The taste is right over on the fresh side with crisp grainy malts, some lemon like notes and then a modest amount of sugary white chocolate (coming from the mix of vanilla beans and cacao nibs). It seems these flavors are not really meant to go together but I think the flavor ratio attained is about the best it could be. That left me reflecting on how much I actually enjoyed this one. Well done, not sure there’s any room for improvement here.
