COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is an American White Oak-aged version of Jai Alai India Pale Ale. The white oak adds smoothing notes of vanilla and slight hints of dill to the aroma and flavor profile. The finish is elegantly dry due to the light tannin notes from oak aging and though still loaded with hop flavor, hop bitterness is more restrained.

Bottle. Pours clear orange with a medium, frothy beige head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma and flavor are medium malt (biscuit, meal, bread), heavy hops (floral, grassy, citrus), apple/pear and oak notes. Medium body, warmth, and carbonation with a dry and biting finish.

Gold pour. Tons of tropical fruit, raw wood, citrus hops, honey and more. Flavor has a ton of fresh cut wood, citrus, pineapple and a really interesting finish: a dill note. Great beer!

Bottle… This beer rocks!… Hazy orange ale with a huge, frothy, white head. Fantastic retention. The aroma blows me away – freshly cut firewood, tropical fruit medley, spruce and nectarine. I didn’t think I could like the aroma of any other treatment of Jai Alai more than that of the Humidor IPA but now I do. Medium to full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Bittersweet, fruity, spicy flavor and finish. World class beer!

12oz bottle. Poured a cloudy golden color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of wood with citrus. Tastes of wood, citrus, vanilla, and caramel. Side x side with the regular version, and I liked this one more.

33cl bottle @ ZZT III. Courtesy of Martinus. Clear orange color, small white to off-white head that becomes a white lacing quickly. Smell hops, pine, some sweetness. Taste pine, hops, some wine indeed. Soft mouthfeel, bitter finish, medium body.

Thanks Shawn. Spicey IPA. Medium golden coloured body with enormous head that leaves a half inch of white head. The aroma is unuual as it has the cooked oak, interesting. Medium plus mouthfeel. Decent drinkability, but I could not drink a second bottle of this too soon. bee-aye 5K.

355mL courtesy of Travlr. Poured a hazy light amber with a towering, ultra-rocky, yellow, creme head. Massive retention and lace. Aroma is candy corn, melon, cantaloupe Taste is bitter melon rind, sweet residual sugars, some odd sweet melon character. Soft carbonation. Really no hop character so I’m not even thinking IPA while trying this. It’s yummy but a bit too sweet and fruity.
