COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is an American White Oak-aged version of Jai Alai India Pale Ale. The white oak adds smoothing notes of vanilla and slight hints of dill to the aroma and flavor profile. The finish is elegantly dry due to the light tannin notes from oak aging and though still loaded with hop flavor, hop bitterness is more restrained.

Great IPA. Oak aging IPAs seems like a terrible Idea but this has amazing spicyness to compliment the hops. great beer by CC when not infected, which one bottle was!

Pours murky orange with a soapy white head. Aroma is strong nectarines and other assorted citrus. The taste is like biting into a soft juicy peach with wood and citrus notes. This is a very well done and unique beer.

Nicely done! White Oak Jai Alai pours a nice amber color with no head. Strong herbal and vanilla smell. Big oak flavor comes through immediately followed by herbal undertones and maybe even a hint of vanilla. Very interesting IPA. A definite must have! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle from a trade. Aroma is tropical fruit, mango, kiwi, orange, and a tiny bit of piney hop scent. Flavor is mango, orange, kiwi, grapefruit, and a suddle piney hop taste. Really great beer, a must try if you are a fan of jai Alai.

Thanks Sean! in a wine glass at fridge temp. 1 finger solid white creamy head. burnt orange appearance with some hop floaties. Wow. Smells super piney, sweet grapes, figs and pine resin. Very interesting taste. The white oak gives it this tree bark / birch syrup taste that drowns out some of the hop bitterness. Very interesting and extremely drinkable for 7.5%

Bottle at Edgar’s house. Thanks!! Pours a very hazy amber with medium white head. Snifter. Aroma of pine, oak, citrus and heavy malts. The taste is amazing with heavy oak, rich meaty malts, smoke and bitter hops. One of my favs.

Bottle received as an extra from my first trade -- thanks Kevin! Pours murky amber with rocky white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, dank, oak, and caramel. Taste is full of tropical fruits, with a lot of sweetness and relatively subdued bitterness. Smooth drinking, average carbonation, slick-to-creamy texture, short finish. Overall: Surprisingly sweet to me. The oak adds a pretty unique element to this, but doesn’t really gel that well for me.

Great ipa. The oak really mellowed out the bitterness of the hops. Enjoyed non aged a little better

UPDATED: MAY 9, 2013 Buttery licorice aroma. Deep oak taste, but the white oak has kind of a charred oak flavor. Has that jack daniels charcoled mellowedness to it. Tastes like something fried in butter over a campfire. Insanely smooth. Really like this one.

Murky orange-amber with fine, foamy, white head / Bright, big nose of tropical fruit, coconut, pine, and caramel / Full body, smooth, lush, sweet but with superb balance and bitter finish lurking under the bigger body / Flavors of coconut, pineapple, orange, grapefruit, brown sugar, and oak / An absolutely stunning ipa, as good as I’ve ever had and distinctively tropical, as compared to the equaly great offerings from the more classic likes of Dogfish, Lagunitas, Three Floyds, etc.
